What PED supports
Google Calendar
Optional, read-only conflict awareness.
PED can read connected Google Calendar events so existing commitments appear as locked blocks. Those times block scheduling conflicts. PED does not create, edit, share, or delete Google Calendar events.
Trust controls
- Calendar connection is user-controlled and optional.
- Users choose which calendars block planning time.
- Disconnecting removes stored OAuth credentials and stops future sync.
- Google Calendar data is not sold or used for advertising.
Questions
Can anyone create an account?
No. PED Planner is invitation-only for approved Focus Room clients and authorized reviewers.
Does PED edit Google Calendar?
No. The Google Calendar connection is optional and read-only. PED displays existing events as locked planning blocks and uses their times to avoid conflicts.
Can I disconnect Google Calendar?
Yes. Connected users can disconnect from Settings. That removes stored OAuth credentials and stops future Calendar sync.
